Pomme & Poire Tartlets
We are taking our tartlet classes to the next level by introducing this twin of Apple Hazelnut and Pear Almond Tartlets! The Apple Tartlets are filled with a nutty hazelnut mascarpone topped with caramel apple slices while the Pear Tartlets are baked with a creamy almond filling topped with an entire honey vanilla poached pear. Together with a crusty tart, the fruity and nutty flavours are bound to delight you and your loved ones!
About the Class
In this class, you will learn:
- How to make the dough, roll and line the tart rings to make the Tart Shells.
- How to prepare and bake a Almond Cream filling.
- How to prepare and poach Honey Vanilla Pears.
- How to prepare and cook Caramel Apples (Demo only).
- How to make a Hazelnut Mascarpone filling.
- Duration: 3.5 Hours.
- Type: Full Hands-on.
- Recommended age: 16 Years Old and Above.
- Equipment, ingredients and packaging will all be provided.
- Students will EACH get TWO Apple Hazelnut Tartlets and TWO Pear Almond Tartlets.
*Students will work in PAIRS to prepare the dough, fillings and pears but will get to line, bake and assemble their own tartlets INDIVIDUALLY.
