Taking a break from all the sweet CNY snacks going around, we specially created a savory duo to balance out all those pineapple tarts! Featuring a crunchy yet chewy Bakwa Cornflake cookie and a fragrant Seaweed Floss biscotti packed with umami flavour, you’ll be sure to give your tastebuds an all-rounded experience this festive season!
About the Class
In this class, you will learn:
- How to make a caramelised bakwa maple jam.
- How to achieve balance between sweet and savoury ingredients.
- How to make a basic biscotti and add flavours to it.
- Duration: 3 Hours.
- Type: Full Hands-on.
- Recommended age: 16 Years Old and Above.
- Equipment, ingredients and packaging will all be provided.
- Each student will go home with around 15 bakwa cornflake cookies, and 15 seaweed floss biscottis.
*Students will work in PAIRS to prepare the cookie doughs and bakwa jam, but assemble and bake their cookies and biscotti INDIVIDUALLY.
