In this 2-day program, your kids will be learning the use of each ingredient and equipment, learning the basics of baking, and going hands on with piping and frosting techniques. This June Holiday, task your junior bakers to pick up a skill that they can flaunt and recreate for your next family gathering!
In this 2-Day Baking Camp, your child will learn:
Recipe 1: Ombre Cake Pops
Ombre push pops are a colorful and fun dessert that is perfect for parties or special occasions. In this class your little chef will learn about colors and how to create the gradient effect with one cake batter. You can sure count on them to recreate them at your next family gathering!
In this class, your child will learn:
- How to make and mix different types of cake shades of color
- How to frost on cakes
- How to fill up the push pops
- Decorating techniques
Recipe 2: Chocolate Bear Tartlets
Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! We are going full throttle with chocolate with these miniature bear tartlets which is as adorable as it is tasty! Your little chefs will learn how to shape tartlets, fill them with ganache and make beary cute expressions with fondant!
In this class, your child will learn:
- How to make and shape the chocolate tarts
- How to fill their tarts
- How to make simple fondant shapes
- How to decorate their tarts
Age Requirement:
- Recommended for children aged 8 to 12 years old
- Parent's are not required to join the class
