Chocolate Symphony Cake 

Experience a symphony of different chocolate tastes and textures in this rich and decadent cake. From the crunchy oreo biscuit base, to a velvety chocolate cheesecake layer, followed by a rich and moist chocolate cake and finally enveloped with a silky smooth Belgian dark chocolate ganache. This cake is bound to satisfy all the chocolate lovers out there.


About the Course

By attending this course, you will learn the following:

  • How to prepare a moist chocolate cake
  • How to prepare a baked chocolate cheesecake with oreo base
  • How to prepare a pourable chocolate ganache
  • Demonstration on how to temper chocolate to make chocolate bonbons and strips for decoration

Class Duration: 3.5 hours

Class Type: Hands on

Bring home a 6 Inch Round Chocolate Symphony Cake, specially baked and decorated by yourself!

Do note that preparation and mixing of ingredients will be done in pairs while assembly of cake will be individual work.

  1. Duration of class might be extended instead of the stipulated timings.
  2. Cleaning/Washing will be part of the baking experience.
  3. Fees for scheduled classes must be paid fully in advance to secure your booking. Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
  4. Once your booking is confirmed, no refunds or transfers to another class will be given.
  5. Payment will be fully forfeited regardless of the unforeseen circumstances. We recommend that you arrange for someone to attend in your place. Please inform us of the person who will be attending in your place.
  6. In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. We will inform you via email. You can choose to either get a refund of the class fee or attend another class of the same value.

Vivienne’s passion for pastries has given her the drive to pursue diploma studies in Pastry and Baking at At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy. Through her studies, Vivienne has been inspired to appreciate the science behind pastries and devotes much time to research.

Her previous working stint with BreadTalk and renowned Shangri-la Hotel Singapore has given her many opportunities to improve her skills in terms of baking and decorating various types of cakes and pastries. Believing that desserts are food to the eyes, Vivienne pays special attention to the value of cakes and bread brought forth aesthetically and flavor wise.

As an instructor, she hopes to bring her passion forth through the product she creates and share the joy of learning with students through her skills and knowledge. She also believes that learning goes both ways and looks forward to interacting with like-minded people during class.
